The experience left much to be desired. first of all, the water pressure was absolutely dreadful, despite supposedly conserving resources. also, I got charged for drinking water, while the rest got free refills, how ridiculous! I almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn’t. there was no complimentary gesture for the inconveniences.

The walk to the restaurant feels unsafe at night without lighting!!! More hangers in the cabin would enhance the experience!!! Older cabins lack the charm that newer ones offer!!!

casa kaan calakmul is surrounded by nature, and the concept is lovely. the restaurant serves delicious food, making meals enjoyable. the cabin we stayed in was nicely designed, blending perfectly with the environment. we loved the stargazing at night and found the area tranquil, with a nearby lake for sunset views.

We had a wonderful time staying in Casa Mango, enjoying the spacious living room and the well-equipped kitchen, which made family meals a breeze. Relaxing by the sun terrace and the garden area was a lovely way to unwind after visiting Calakmul. The only small issue was the bright AC display light that made it a bit harder to sleep at night, but overall, it didn’t take away from our experience. 😊
